GCP Cloud Armor
Google Cloud Armor can be used in a couple of ways, but not limited to:
* Prevent common vulnerabilities, like SQL injections by using Google's own CVE-rules that detect and block these vulnerabilities if someone tries using them.
*
Cloud Armor error page "403 Forbidden" when rules are applied and your traffic is blocked
* Prevent whole countries from connecting by blocking certain IP ranges that have been assigned to said countries. Cloud Armor makes this easy by assigning these IP's to simple country codes, see image below.
*
* Identify malicious attempts by rate-banning too many requests in a pre-defined amount of time.
