Introduction

We were again facing issues when starting AO server. It came up when tried to patch AO servers to new version. We got this Windows protected your PC warning message:

Debugging

It happens with Servers and client, no matter what version I tried to run, but not the current version what was running in Live.

One though was that to wait Windows restart, and actually Client started to work then, but not server.

Solution

Find out that for some reason it came when I tried to run server from C:\attracs\server\ but it didnt happen when run server from network share \\backendsrv-1\attracs\server\ * It worked over one and half year from Local path...

Added Exclusions again and changed scripts to start server from network path
