ROAD: PTV xServer

Basic commands:

./xroute.sh start
./xroute.sh stop
./xroute.sh status
./xroute.sh console

Conclusion - Attracs use PTV xServer - xRoute. It's save to start using linux server. Using linux will be more easy and quick also for automatisation.

Folder structure is the same linux and windows xServer files. Windows using .bat scripts for start, stop, install service and call xroutewrapper.exe with \conf\wraper.conf Linux has xroute.sh script with par: start, console, stop, restart. and also using bin\xroutewrapper for linux and the same \conf\wrapper.conf file.

For importing, exporting and updating maps we need to use Maps&Guide desktop app.

next to be tested: - On the PTV server (windows server 2016, version 1607) we can set up hyper-v linux machine and install the ptv-xroute. make the common configs from windows site. After that with Janne we can make additional configs to use this server for testing.

Right now on widows site we have PTV and PTV-tp(for testing). so here on linux site, we will make that testing. after successful testing and get the same results like PTV-tp windows we will set up the other server for stable version, and we will turn off the windows.
