Resolving alerts

Ahola / Special:

Folder size monitoring, if folders size growing to much (contains too many files):

If we got alert about Vehco Mission, Admin folder contains too many files. Problem might be that Vehco Server has too much errors and it can't process files.

Vehco\Mission\Admin
  • Solution:
    • Restart Vehco Server and move files from Admin folder to IN folder.

Other Admin folder alerts:

Customs\CustomsDirectCommunications\
UTU\Admin
EXP\Admin
TRA\Admin
GUARANTEE\Admin

Customs\NorwayCustoms\
Reply\Admin

Invoicing\TEApps\Admin

These Admin folders should be empty. If not, might be that MainServer is giving error. * Solution: * Try to move files from Admin folder to IN folder * If files go back to Admin folder, contact Delphi developers and check MainServer log.

OSS: optimistic locking alert: https://dash.aholadigital.com/d/564rfth5/log-digest-clients?orgId=1&from=now-30m&to=now

When clients got more than 20 optimistic locking errors within 30 minutes time range, we got alert to slack.

You can find resource here: GCP Client logs, OSS optimistic locking

if one user has multiple oss errors, (> 20, client might be broken). Go to check client log on Windows Server \\backendsrv-1\Attracs\client\Log (path will be changes to NetApp path when those available.)

  • Solution
    • Send log to Delphi developers on road-ao-support -channel in slack and kick user out.

AO Server alert:

We have alerts based on AO servers CPU, if CPU % goes to zero, we got alert to slack.

Ahola and Special has automation which will start servers in every 5minutes, so we don't need to do anything when we got that alert.

Knowing when and how often Ahola's/Special's servers crash is still valuable information for us.
